ARC Raiders is an extraction game where machines hear you before you see them — and you can hear them first. Most deaths come from noise: sprinting, loud loot, missed warnings.
Every run works the same way: you drop into a map full of machines and other players, grab loot, and reach the extractor alive. The loudest person dies first. Machines patrol fixed routes and react to noise — your sprint, your shots, your looting. Other players do the same. Whoever listens best extracts most.
Listen for
- Rolling and servos — a machine is moving nearby.
- Charging hum — attack incoming, break line of sight.
- Alarms — you are spotted: fight or leave.
- Footsteps — other players; louder means closer.
Do this
- Walk within 50 metres of objectives, never sprint.
- Stop looting the second you hear servos.
- Plan your exit before you enter any building.
- Extract early when the lobby goes quiet.
When to leave a run
- An alarm goes off and a second patrol starts converging.
- You hear an enemy squad’s footsteps near the extractor.
- Your bag is full and the map keeps getting louder.
A full bag and a quiet exit beats a dead hero with nothing.
